He surpasses our expectations to the point that it defies description.

"Chip" came off of the trailer at our place and walked straight into my heart. He is a truly beautiful animal....inside and out and has fit into our farm as though he's been here all of his life. He is pictured here at 18 years of age.

It would be our pleasure to have you visit this magnificent stallion at our farm! You will be as impressed as we are.

His 2009 "Welcome to Texas" stud fee is $550 which includes the booking fee and first shipment.

Texas Bound

I am sure many of you know that three years ago we had to move from the big farm and had to start cutting back on the broodmares, etc., due to David's health. I have known for sometime that the day was coming that I could no longer stand Chip and would have to move to town.....and although I have not sold this smaller place yet, I will have to as soon as the economy allows.

I have been so worried about Chip and where he should and could go. He has been so good to us and made Tailermade Enterprises, named after my Father, Tommy Tailer, and our family name. It was originally a partnership with my older sister Wendy...... And he made Tailermade Enterprises and Canfield Mtn. Farm, Inc. a huge success in the Northwest. Chip has meant so much to David and myself and to many others. He and the business is what I am made of and what has made me in many respects. He, himself is a great individual and has proven and is continuing to prove to be a great sire with foals winning in almost every category and division there is in the AQHA world!

I am so happy to announce that Chip has sold to Enchanted Oak's Quarter Horses in Burleson, Texas!! No longer will I worry about a good home for this great horse! Now he will have a great home and not have to be retired! He will stand down there and be allowed to continue to sire those good foals. Charlen will honor all return breedings with no additional chute fees and her collection fees are in line with the ones we have had here for the last years standing Chip.

A huge "Thank You" to McKinlay Peters Equine Services for the outstanding home they have given Chip the last three years during breeding season and for handling all of our breeding for the last fifteen years. He will also be standing at the same reasonable Private Treaty Fee, Charlen will continue his webpage and welcome you all to send photos of his winning get and get for sale.

Dont Skip This Chip is a superbly bred stallion who won your hearts with his flat-kneed jog and deep, driving lope and exceptional disposition. Purchased as a weanling by Tailermade Enterprises, Dont Skip This Chip is a 1990, 16HH, Bay AQHA Stallion, and first offspring of World Champion Zips Chocolate Chip (by Zippo Pine Bar) and out of Skippa Bonita Too. Chip won 21.5 AQHA points as a two year old, and finished his three year old season as a World Qualifier.
He was undefeated in all seven pleasure futurities entered as a three year old, and finished with a total of 66.5 AQHA points. Chip now stands at private treaty to AQHA, APHA, TB and ApHA mares. We have a strong Cool Semen program as Chip's semen ships very well. We ship to all parts of the United States, as well as, BC, Alberta, Quebec, Manitoba and Ontario. He has continued to sire futurity winners in Pleasure and Longeline, at such prestigious shows as the Canadian Nationals, Oregon QHA Summer Circuit, Silver Chalice, Silver Classic, Champagne Circuit, Northwest Summer Circuit and the Texas Classic.

CHIP is the sire of 12 AQHA Superior foals and 34 R.O.M.'s. He is the sire of ten multiple APHA Superiors, R.O.M's and an Open and amateur APHA champion. He is the sire of multiple AQHA point earners in every area as well as futurity winners at the Texas Classic, Oregon Summer Circuit, N.W. Summer Circuit, Canadian Nationals, Champagne Circuit (Calif) and Silver Classic (Nebraska) in Longeline, Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle.
